The true measure of the benefits of our adventure are more discernible now that three months have passed. Prior to going on the trip our management team basically co-existed. Now I am happy to report that it wasn’t a short term fix. Our relationships can more easily endure the day to day rigors of business. We are more honest and less sensitive with one another. We are on our way to being great and ultimately outstanding.
As you know, sales reps are notorious for being lone wolves. However, after doing the team building exercises, they began to see the advantages of working together. During the rest of our meeting, the reps would refer back to the team building to make points about working as a team. Thanks again for helping us have a successful kick-off of our self-directed work teams.
Our off-site was well planned, and it was obvious you had taken the time to work with us, understand our business and leadership issues, and create an off-site that addressed the needs of both. It isn’t often an outside party can facilitate a meeting with a group of people that have never had a teaming-type session, and reign them in successfully.
